Award Amount:  $5,000 per person, 14 awarded
Deadline: February 6th, 2014

  • Two grants available:
    • The NFA Artist / Ensemble Grant:  to support artists whose work demonstrates excellence and potential for impacting the Latino arts field.
    • The NFA Master Artist Grant:  recognizes established Latino artists for their cultural contributions and significance in their communities and also provides support for the Master Artist to serve as a mentor to another artist in their expertise.
  • In order to apply for this grant, you must:
    • Download the NFA Arist/Ensemble guidelines as well as the NFA/Artist/Ensemble Narrative and Budget Form under the menu. (The second and fourth bullet link under the menu. [The NFA Artist & Ensemble Grants Narrative/Budget Form link is currently broken, I’ve already sent them an e-mail to clarify this link.])
    • Fill out their required documents and prepare for submission.
    • Create an account a Submittable account at the bottom of the page.
    • Attach appropriate files to appropriate pages: Narrative and Budget Form, Artistic Work Sample, and each Support Documents.
    • Apply Now to… well, apply!  BAM!
